To use Windows 7 after 30 days, it must be enabled. To extend your activation grace period, use the "rearm" terminal command. Note that you can prolong your activation term to a maximum of 120 days by using the rearm command up to three times.
Turning on Windows 7
Press the ⊞ Win key, type "Cmd" into the search bar, and then select the Command Prompt application with a right-click. Choose "Run as Administrator" and enter "slmgr -rearm" in the resulting window. After pressing Enter, restart your computer. After then, your activation period ought to be reset to 30 days.
Press ⊞ Win and type "Cmd" into the search field. The search results will show the Command Prompt application.
Choose "Run as Administrator" by performing a right-click on the Command Prompt listing. This will open the administrator-level command prompt application.
3 Type "slmgr -rearm" into the command line and press Enter. You will be prompted to restart your computer when a script has finished running.
Restart your computer.
