How to use the KMS license key to activate Office 2010/2013 for free 2026

As you are aware, I am working on a technology that enables users to use KMS licensing keys to activate Microsoft software items. Many of you may be wondering why I only publish guidelines for the most recent Office 2016 or Office 365 versions. Can the older versions be activated for free? The answer is definitely yes, however there is a difficulty that we need to talk about in more depth below.

The distinction between volume and retail versions

Because Office Retail only supports volume versions, you cannot utilize the KMS technique. However, since Office 2016, users have been able to convert retail versions to volume utilizing a licensing file library that comes with setup files, making it considerably simpler to use KMS licenses. However, it is regrettable that earlier versions (including Office 2013/2010) do not have this library

There are two ways to use the KMS client setup key to activate your Office.

1. The first approach: Without utilizing any extra library

Office 2010/2013 Volume versions are supported products.

You must first launch the command prompt with administrator privileges, then carefully follow the steps listed below. To execute the commands, simply copy and paste them and remember to hit Enter.

Step 1.1: Find out where Office is installed on your computer.

The path is determined by the Windows OS's architecture. Don't worry if you don't know what it is; simply execute all of the commands listed below.

Step 1.2: Use your KMS client key to activate your office.
Run the following command after ensuring that your computer is online.

cscript %folder%\ospp.vbs /inpkey:VYBBJ-TRJPB-QFQRF-QFT4D-H3GVB

 cscript %folder%\ospp.vbs /inpkey:YC7DK-G2NP3-2QQC3-J6H88-GVGXT

cscript %folder%\ospp.vbs /sethst:kms.msguides.com

cscript %folder%\ospp.vbs /setprt:1688

cscript %folder%\ospp.vbs /act

The error 0xC004F074 indicates that either the server is busy or your internet connection is erratic. Please confirm that your device is online before attempting the command "act" once more until it works.

2. The second approach: Using an extra library that was taken from the Office Volume installation folder

All Office 2013 and 2010 editions are supported.

Step 2.2: Proceed with the first step of the previously described procedure 1.

Install Office voulme license

cd /d c:\library

for /f %x in ('dir /b *') do cscript %folder%\ospp.vbs /inslic:%x

 Step 2.4: Proceed with procedure 1's second step.

Finally, check activation status again.

    I am aware that many of you find it uncomfortable to use the library. I didn't want to write about Office 2010 and 2013 because of this. Please use the Office 2010/2013 volume or update to a more recent version if you dislike using the extra library.
